Meet The Team

The Rev. Dr. Bradley Hyde has served in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist as an ordained elder for 27 years. He received his MDiv. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and then went on to get his DMin at Columbia Theological Seminary where he focused “creating a culture of call.  In that work, he discovered five best practices of local churches that create a culture of call in their ministries. Brad currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Bearden United Methodist Church, and he also serves as the vocational discernment coordinator for the Holston Conference.

A native of Knoxville TN, Stephanie is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church seeking to live into a deacon's call to bridge the community and the church through compassion and justice.  She is currently the Asso Pastor at Bearden UMC in Knoxville. Being a pastor is a second career for her, having spent 30+ years as a pediatric critical care RN.  She is passionate about discipleship, outreach, and social justice as well as having been active in children's ministry most of her adult life.  Having discerned her call later in life, she wants to be a resource for those discerning their own call to ministry in whatever capacity that looks like. 

Sharon Wiley Wright serves as the University Chaplain at her alma mater, Emory & Henry University in Emory, Virginia.  She is an ordained United Methodist minister.  Sharon, her husband, and young adult children live in Abingdon, Virginia.
